The most boring day of all time by Srishti

I t was the most boring day of all time,
I did not feel like licking a lime.
I didn't feel like riding a bike, or taking a beautiful hike.
I didn't feel like sleeping all day long,
or going to China to ring a gong.
I didn't feel like picking a flower,
or looking at what was the hour.
It was the most boring day of all time,
waking up that day was a crime.

That poem was written by me and I had some help from my dad.
I got inspired from Jack Prelutsky
For who reads this and all of the other posts, "reading and writing will get you out of the strawberry jam." I just made up my own quote! Isn't that sweet?
(And also, strawberry jam is really good! This is my opinion).

The day the aliens came to Earth

One day, a cat was walking to the back of a restaurant to look for food. She was enjoying some leftover fish when suddenly, she heard all of the people screaming so loud, that you would think a volcano erupted. Then the cat remembered that there wasn't any volcanoes near here. When she looked up at the clouds, she saw an unbelievable sight! She saw a space ship!

The spaceship was circling around in the sky. Then it came right above the cat and abducted her. The cat was filled with fear and excitement for adventure. After what seemed like 4,000 hours, the space ship finally landed on an unusual planet. The planet had a sign that said "Welcome to Planet Zorg! Have a fun day here!" At least her question was answered.

She was going to a building that seemed as if it was floating. She went inside the strange building and sat down in a leather chair. An alien asked the cat a question.
"Do you know how to make a ham and cheese sandwich?" the alien asked. "I am waiting for an answer! I didn't send my precious space ships to Earth for nothing you know!"
"Yes I do know" the cat said. "You get bread and put ham and cheese on it. Cover all of it up with another slice of bread. And If you want, heat it up for one minute and let it cool." The aliens thanked the cat and safely brought her back to the restaurant. For the rest of the cat's life, she said that she met an alien.
